Congratulations are extended to the Gonzaga Vikings as they completed a three game sweep on thier way to the BMO Doug Marshall Hockey League Tier One Championship last night at the Twin Rinks upending the regular season leaders Holy Heart Highlanders. The Highlanders were looking to defend the league title but Gonzaga rode the momentum of a strong playoff to take home the Charlie Decker Trophy as this seasons league champions! Congrats once again to the players and coaches.

This years Tier One playoff featured many great games from all teams involved and the Vikings certainly had to work hard and play well to outlast thier opponents on the way to the championship. Hats off to all teams for thier efforts this season and good luck to all individual award finalists as the league will crown the winners at the year end league banquet on Saturday March 30 at the Glendenning Golf Club.
