PWC CAVALIERS ARE THE 2025 BOYLE TROPHY CHAMPIONS!
A fantastic end to the historic, very competitive Boyle Cup Tournament this weekend.
PWC won the gold at championship game in Paradise and the 2025 plaque on the Historic Boyle Cup.
This is North America’s 2nd oldest trophy and is currently on display at the Rooms. PWC will soon have a ceremony at the Rooms unveiling their newest plaque.
Elwood Lakers of Deer Lake won the silver medals.
What a great week of hockey which saw 12 Tier 2 teams from across Newfoundland competing to have their names on this piece of Newfoundland Hockey History.
Hosted by Holy Heart High School, the teams competing were PWC, Elwood, Pearson, JM Olds, Gonzaga, Waterford Valley, St. Bon’s, Crescent, Clarenville, Mobile, St. Kevin’s and Holy Heart.
The top 6 teams made it to the playoff round yesterday - PWC, Elwood, Gonzaga, Clarenville, JM Olds and Mobile.
A huge thank you to all teams, players, coaches and managers, parents and supporters at each game, to the officials and rink attendants and the 3 rinks – the Capital Mitsubishi Center, Yetman’s Arena and Paradise Arena.
