The Gonzaga Vikings punched their ticket to the championship series and the chase for the Charlie Decker DMHL Championship Trophy on the heels of a 3-2 win over Holy Spirit on Tuesday at the Paradise Arena. The Vikings will now tackle the high flying O'Donel Patriots with the best of five final series starting this weekend at the DF Barnes Arena.

Meanwhile the chase for the Mike Sutton Memorial DMHL Championship trophy began on Tuesday at the Goulds Arena with the St.Kevins Mavericks drawing first blood with a hard fought 5-4 Overtime victory in game one of thier best of five series vs the white hot Holy Heart Highlanders. Game two of that final goes Saturday 7:00 at the Twin Rinks.
